A St. Louis gun store, Alien Armory Tactical, announced they would be gifting Mark and Patricia McCloskey a new AR-15 to replace the one confiscated by local authorities last week.
The McCloskeys made headlines several weeks ago for defending their home from protesters who were trespassing.
They were subsequently forced to hire a private security firm when they received word from the protest group Expect Us that the group was coming to the couple’s home on July 3.
“We have been informed this will be a ‘bloodbath,’” Mark McCloskey wrote on Facebook, “and that we will be made a symbol of what happens to people who protect their Hearth and Home.”
Protesters did show up but there were no incidents of violence.
Friday night the McClosekys had a search warrant executed at their home by law enforcement. During that search their AR-15 rifle, the one brandished by Mark McCloskey, was taken away.
There were no charges filed against the McCloskeys and the search warrant executed was just for the gun. There are no reports as of yet as to the grounds on which the rifle was confiscated.
The raid comes two weeks after St. Louis circuit attorney Kimberly Gardner vowed to work with the St. Louis Police Department to conduct an investigation into the original incident.
After that so-far unexplained seizure made headlines, Alien Armory Tactical announced they are donating a free AR-15 to replace the one taken away.
The gun store posted this on Facebook Friday night:

This couple did what they needed to do to protect private property as the property was being ambushed. I’ve seen videos and some of these so called protesters were carrying firearms and they clearly broke the gate to make way on to the private property ( A THREAT ) To the couple that had this warrant served, please come on by our shop and we will gladly rearm you with a brand new ar15 for ( FREE ) thats right if you see this post contact our page and we will gladly assist you with a replacement for you to protect your private property for FREE! Also we will assist you with some FREE firearms training so if anything were to happen you will be better prepared, we will take you with your brand new ar15 and show you how to be better prepared!
