Caitlyn Jenner wants to be rapper Kanye West’s running mate. Speaking to paparazzi outside of a Starbuck coffee shop in California yesterday, Jenner was asked, “Are you going to vote for Kanye for president now that Kanye’s running you think?”
“Oh, I texted him and said, ‘Can I be your VP?'” Jenner replied. “What a combination!”
West announced his intention to run for president earlier this month and yesterday made it official when he filed paperwork with the Federal Election Committee. His name will appear on the ballot in at least Oklahoma where his Birthday Party ticket will appear along side that of President Trump and presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden.
Jenner is not the only person in West’s family that has been rumored to be a running mate for the long-shot candidate. Some have suggested that his wife, reality star Kim Kardashian West could be West’s VP. Others have suggested the CEO of automaker Tesla, Elon Musk, join the rapper on the ticket.
West is running on a pro-God, pro-life, anti-vaccine platform.
