Google to Bar Advertising on Covid19 Conspiracy Theories

Google’s parent company Alphabet announced yesterday that it will bar websites running its advertising technology from running ads that include what it considers “dangerous content” about the Covid19 pandemic.

Content considered dangerous include the theory that Covid19 originated in a Chinese lab as a bioweapon, that it was created by Microsoft founder Bill Gates or that the virus is a hoax, the company said in a statement.

Advertisers will also be barred from creating their own ads that include such theories.

Google allows only certain institutions to run ads about the Covid19 pandemic. Those include governments agencies and International organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO).

Several Chinese scientists and experts who worked at China’s top-secret Wuhan Institute of Virology, have defected and are working with western intelligence agencies. These experts have information, it’s believed, that confirms Covid19 is the result of laboratory experiments done at WIV’s laboratories.
