George Soros Donates $50 Million To Dems in 2020 – $30 Million More than in 2016

Politics U.S. World

Billionaire financier George Soros has donated $52 million to Democrats this election cycle, $30 million more than the $22 million he donated during the 2016 election cycle.

Donations were made through a political action committee, Democracy PAC, which he created last year. The gifts ranged from $90,000 to $2 million and went to such organizations as Nancy Pelosi-linked House Majority PAC, the Chuck-Schumer-tied Senate Majority PAC, Planned Parenthood Votes, and the Biden Victory Fund.

Just yesterday we chronicled how in 2018, Soros prognosticated that the Trump administration is a “purely temporary phenomenon that will disappear in 2020 or even sooner.” Soros made the comment at the 2018 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

The Trump administration is a “danger to the world,” he added.

And it was only a few weeks ago that Open Society Foundations President Patrick Gaspard said the organization is set to “double down” on funding for “black-led justice organizations,” when announcing an investment totaling more than $200 million in such organizations.

Open Society Foundations is headed by Soros.

The recent uprisings and protests in the US and across the world is “the moment we’ve been investing in for the last 25 years,” Gaspard added.
