The Origins of Epstein’s Sex-Trafficking Blackmail Operations

Headlines Politics U.S.

Does Jeffrey Epstein’s sex-trafficking blackmail rings have their origins in FBI operations as well as operations of the American mafia? According to a report by Whitney Webb of The Last American Vagabond, they may.

Lewis “Lew” Rosenstiel the renowned liquor baron who rose to prominence in the post-Prohibition era of the 1920s and 30s, often hosted extravagant parties. These parties often included “boy prostitutes” that he would hire “for the enjoyment” of certain guests who often included important government officials and prominent figures in America’s criminal underworld.

The revelations were made in a divorce proceeding brought by Rosenstiel’s fourth wife, Susan Kaufman. Kaufman would later make the same claims under oath during the hearing of the New York’s State Joint Legislative Committee on Crime in the early 1970s.

Not only did Rosenstiel organize the parties, but he also made sure they were bugged with microphones that recorded the audio of the goings-on.

Those recordings were then used for blackmail.

These blackmail parties would both directly and indirectly serve as the basis of the much more sophisticated and infamous Epstein ring that came into being decades later.
