Author Contends Kamala Harris Covered Up Sex Abuse Crimes by Priests in San Francisco

Headlines Politics U.S.

Author Peter Schweizer, in his new book Profiles in Corruption: Abuse of Power by America’s Progressive Elite, argues Senator and current 2020 Democratic Vice-Presidential Nominee Kamala Harris covered up sex-abuse crimes by priests during her 13-tenure as a district attorney in, and later attorney general of, California.

While at least 50 other major jurisdictions at the time were busy investigating and prosecuting priests for molesting and raping young boys, Kamala “would strangely hide vital records on abuses that had occurred,” Schweizer writes.

Harris also allegedly retaliated against a district attorney who tried to do the job she refused to do.

All while continuing to collect large donations from the Church.

“Harris had no particular ties to the Catholic Church or Catholic organizations, but the money still came in large, unprecedented sums,” Schweizer writes.
