South Korean Students to Begin Taking AI Classes in High School

South Korean students are to begin taking classes that teach them to work with artificial intelligence.

Two courses will be available as electives and will be administered to high school students, the equivalent of high school juniors and seniors and in the American education system.

One class will focus on the development and uses of artificial intelligence. The second will cover the mathematics and coding relating to AI algorithms.

The classes should be available at the beginning of the second semester of the 2021 school year.
