San Diego Mandates Businesses Collect Names and Phone Numbers of Customers as a Condition for Reopening

Headlines Health Politics U.S.

San Diego County Supervisor Nathan Fletcher has announced that businesses that wish to reopen will be required to have a guest sign-in that collects the names and phone numbers of guests that come in.

The requirement will apply to businesses that had their indoor operation closed and are now looking to reopen.

Fletcher explained that the sign-in list will help authorities track individuals if an outbreak or positive cases of Covid19 at the business-site occur.

Last week California Gov. Gavin Newsom introduced a China-like color code system that will allow freedom of movement and operation of businesses based on color code designations.
