The FBI raided the home of Netflix star Jerry Harris this week as part of an investigation into messages Harris sent to minors asking for nude photos and for meetings for sex.
Harris became famous through his role in the Netflix documentary Cheer.
Three months ago the Joe Biden campaign used Harris to gain popularity with younger voters and to “win back the internet.” The video of Harris and Biden had been viewed nearly 300,000 times. It has since been removed.
The probe of the Netflix star comes as the streaming service is facing public backlash over its decision to air the movie Cuties, a film about underage girls “twerking.”
