Seattle Pays Ex-Pimp $150,000 to Offer “Alternatives to Policing”

The city of Seattle, WA, has hired an ex-pimp on a $150,000 contract to come up with “alternatives to policing.”

Andre Taylor, whose street name was “Gorgeous Dre,” is getting $12,500 a month for a year along with an office in Seattle’s Municipal Tower.

Taylor led one of the first rallies in Seattle after police killing of George Floyd.

Some of the militants, who he tried to convince to extort millions from the city, in exchange for evacuating the “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone,” later accused him of betraying them, too, when he appeared at a press conference with the Mayor of Seattle convincing protesters to shut the zone down. That occurred the same day he was given his city contract, according to reports.

Taylor was sentenced in Las Vegas, NV, in 2000 to more than five years in prison. Some of the girls he prostituted were underage.
