President Trump addressed the nation in a brief video before boarding Marine One for a short flight to Walter Reed Military hospital this evening.
Mr. Trump announced very early this morning that he and the First Lady have been diagnosed with Covid19.
“I want to thank everybody for the tremendous support. I’m going to Walter Reed Hospital. I think I’m doing very well, but we’re going to make sure that things work out,” the President said.
First Lady Melania Trump has elected to stay at the White House.
