Last week it was reported that business review site Yelp.com has announced it will begin slapping establishments with a new “Racist” label when someone associated with that business is “accused of racist behavior.”
It seems now that anarchist group ANTIFA is helping the review site compile a list of such businesses.
An ANTIFA group responsible for organizing violent Portland riots is asking followers to help it compile a list of “non-friendly” businesses in Portland. It suggests any business that is “hanging blue lives garbage in their store or anything else that’s anti the BLM movement” as examples of unfriendly behavior.
One follower suggested Brothers Cannabis Dispensary be added to the list for having “pro-cop” messaging in the businesses’ window.
Brothers is a minority owned business that employs many minority employees. The “pro-cop” messaging was an alarm permit that is required to be displayed.
My Dawg, We’re one of the few minority owned business with mostly minority employees. What Pro-cop thing are you talking about? Are you referring to this portland police alarm permit we are required to display since day one? pic.twitter.com/BHRPgcYFUm
