Headlines Politics U.S.

A bombshell report by The New York Post details dealings between Vice-President Joe Biden’s son Hunter, and Ukrainian energy company Burisma.

In a significant development The Post presents evidence that Hunter introduced an executive from the company to his father Joe Biden, who was the sitting U.S. Vice-President at the time.

An email detailing the introduction was allegedly sent by an advisor to Burisma’s board to Hunter Biden in April 2015.

“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure,” the email reads.

It was about a year before that alleged introduction that Hunter was given a seat on the board at Burisma at a reported salary of up to $50,000 a month. Hunter Biden has no background or training in the energy sector.

It was also about eight months before Joe Biden says he pressured the president of Ukraine at the time, Petro Poroshenko, to fire Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin. Shokin was investigating Burisma and its business dealings at the time.

Biden as attested on numerous occasions that he has never spoken with his son Hunter about international business dealings.

No sooner had the report been published than Twitter & Facebook began censoring the story, and links to it, as “unsafe” content, and content that will be subject to “third-party fact-checking.”

The Biden campaign says The Post never contacted it about the story, but significantly, doesn’t dispute the authenticity of the emails.
