Wisconsin Clerks May Have Validated Thousands of Invalid Ballots

Headlines Politics U.S.

Allegations are being made that municipal clerks and vote counters across Wisconsin validated thousands of otherwise invalid absentee ballots by signing as witnesses to them.

If a witness address is not included properly on a ballot, that ballot is considered invalid and must be returned to the voter to have the witness correct.

Instead, it is being alleged that municipal clerks and vote counters across the state simply filled out witness signatures on the ballots themselves.

Even more disconcerting is those instructions seems to have come from the Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC) itself.
