Hopkins made his statements in a video posted to Twitter.
“I did not recant my statements, that did not happen,” Hopkins says. “And I would like that The Washington Post recant their wonderful little article…they decided to throw out there.”
Update your article to include Richard’s denial he recanted.
If you don’t update with Richard’s denial, you’re violating journalism 101, but you’re also acting in willful disregard of the truth @jacobbogage.

It was revealed yesterday that federal officials from the USPS Inspector General’s office tried to coerce Hopkins into changing his story about the tampering.
Hopkins, a Marine vet who served in Afghanistan, says that he has been placed on leave from his job without pay after making his allegations.
