Giuliani on Reluctance of State Legislatures to Take Action Against Voter Fraud: I Was Told, “We Don’t Want to Be the First, But We’ll be the Second”

Headlines Politics U.S.

President Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani said yesterday that many legislatures in individual states are convinced there was significant voter fraud, but are “frightened” of being the first body to stand against certification of results.

“I was told by one state legislature, ‘we don’t want to be the first one, but we’ll be the second,'” Guiliani said on Stave Bannon Warroom broadcast last night.

Giuliani said that many Republican officials in states want to be assured that their efforts won’t be “futile” before taking action against certifying results that are fraudulent.
