The White House made it clear to Iran that the world is watching as protests roiled the country for the third straight day. President Trump tweeted out parts of his UN General Assembly speech where he called Iran’s leaders “corrupt” and said the “oppressive regime” would not continue forever.
Many reports of peaceful protests by Iranian citizens fed up with regime’s corruption & its squandering of the nation’s wealth to fund terrorism abroad. Iranian govt should respect their people’s rights, including right to express themselves. The world is watching! #IranProtests
