Billionaire Democratic activist, Tom Steyer, has purchased a copy of Fire and Fury, the controversial new anti-Trump book, for every member of Congress. Steyer told California’s KQED radio station that he plans on hand-delivering 535 copies of the book to each member of the House and Senate.
Steyer has long been involved in politics, especially environmental issues. He has most recently begun an impeachment PR campaign against President Trump on which he has spent more than $20 million of his own money.
Steyer also said he plans to make a major announcement regarding his political future on Monday. Speculation about the announcement includes possible candidacies for governor or for the Senate from California, where Steyer is from.
