Vanessa Trump, President Trump’s daughter-in-law, was hospitalized as a precaution today after opening a letter containing an unidentified substance. A letter containing an unidentified white powder was sent to her apartment. The letter was addressed to her husband, Donald Trump Jr.
Three people at the Trump home were taken to Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City, strictly as a precaution authorities said. There are no reports of injuries and the substance was said to be non-hazardous and was taken to a lab for analysis.
Donald Trump Jr. is the eldest son of President Trump and his first wife Ivana Trump. The Secret Service said it was investigating the matter and had no further comment.
