Chicago Mayor Tells Citizens Not to Take Matters Into Their Hands to Protect Themselves From Rioters, Call the Police Instead

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot implored citizens not to take matters into their own hands to protect themselves from violent rioters. She asked citizens to call the police instead.  No word on how calling the police instead would work if departments are defunded and abolished as many extreme voices in the country are currently calling for.
