After a thorough investigation by the NYPD’s Manhattan South investigators, it has been determined that there was no criminality by shake shack’s employees.

Three NYPD officers discovered what they described as a toxic substance believed to be bleach put in beverages they ordered at a location of a burger restaurant called The Shake Shack last night.
The NYPD Detectives’ Endowment Association tweeted Monday that they believe the officers were “intentionally poisoned” at the Shake Shack at 200 Broadway in Manhattan. They added that none of the officers were seriously harmed.
A tweet from the company’s account said that the company was cooperating fully with the investigation.
“We are horrified by the reports of police officers injured at our 200 Broadway Shack in Manhattan. We are working with the police in their investigation right now,” the tweet read.
According to the NYPD, a thorough investigation was conducted and it was determined that there was no criminality on the part of Shake Shack’s employees.
That didn’t stop many police officers from expressing suspicions about the actions of employees as well as NYPD brass wrapping up the investigation so quickly.
Why is everyone assuming that Shake Shack employees were honest with the NYPD?
All I’m saying is that three cops were sent to the hospital, no other customers were affected, and the investigation was closed in hours.
Dozens of texts from NYPD cops who have an issue w/this.
