Actress Ali Wentworth says she would watch porn with her teenage daughters at least one time.
“In porn, women have been conditioned to look and act a certain way,” the 55-year-old actress says. “They are performing and it’s dangerous to have boys see this as something women want.”
Wentworth made the comments on the “The Dissenters” podcast with Debra Messing and Mandana Dayani.
Wentworth has two teenage daughters, one 17 and the other 15. Wentworth’s husband and father to the two girls is ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos.
“You can’t stop them, so I would watch it with them,” Wentworth explained. “I would look at the porn with them that one time, like, ‘They’re performing.’”
Wentworth also says she tries to guide her daughters when viewing social media posts together. “I say, ‘Do you see this girl? There is a hole she is trying to fill.’”
The actress, in her 2018 memoir boasted about how often she and her husband have sex, a subject that is the envy of her friends, she says.
“I’m not ashamed of it! There’s nothing to be ashamed of!” she said during a subsequent appearance on “Good Morning America” alongside her husband.
