Patients Who Never Took the Test Being Told They’ve Tested Positive for Covid19

Headlines Health U.S.

Americans all over the country are relating stories of testing positive for Covid19 without ever having taken a Covid19 test.

ABC 7 Sarasota talked with Mindy Clark, for example, who was in line to be tested for Covid when she read a sign saying only those with symptoms should be tested.

She left immediately, without taking the test. The next day however, she was contacted by someone telling her she tested positive.

“Positive for what?” Clark responded, surprised. “Positive for Covid” she was told.

She explained that that was impossible as she never took a test for Covid and asked that the result be expunged from her record. She was told the onus was on her to prove she was Covid negative, which she did, two days later.

Comments on ABC 7 Sarasota‘s Facebook post show many people across the country are having similar experiences, calling into question the positive case count being relayed to the American public every day.
