The case of Little James Georgulas, a Texas boy whose mother wanted to transition him into a girl named “Luna,” made national headlines last year.
His father, Jeffrey Younger, sued to prevent James mother, Ann Georgulas, from transitioning him into a girl with hormones and “therapy.” Younger originally won on appeal, but that decision has now been overturned by a judge. James will now be forced to transition to a girl and Younger will have to pay $5,000 a month for the counseling.
In October another judge, Kim Cooks, granted both parents a say in a say in medical, psychological, and psychiatric decisions for James and his twin brother, Jude. Those decisions will now be left up to the sole discretion of Younger’s ex-wife, Georgulas, after this latest decision.
Brown’s order also allows Georgulas to enroll James in school as “Luna.” Court documents show Younger wanted to pull the boys out of school in favor of homeschooling.
