Marquise Lee “Keese” Love turned himself in and was booked in the Multnomah County Detention Center in Portland, Oregon, yesterday. According to authorities, he was charged with assault, coercion and rioting.
Love, authorities say, is the man who savagely assaulted a motorist during a Black Lives Matter protest last Sunday.
Love, 25, helped to savagely beat victim Adam Haner after protesters said Haner drove toward them in a truck.
Haner was trying to defend a transgender woman from being robbed. That’s when protesters turned on him.
Love, who had been on the run for several days, had been posting messages on Snapchat.
“Might go to jail for murder tonight for a racist when all I did was fight him look it up on twitter put money on my books and come see me,” he allegedly posted.
Love had been arrested seven times in Washington County, Oregon, in the past for various charges including domestic assault, providing false information in connection with the transfer of a firearm and criminal trespass.
A GoFundMe page for victim Haner has raised over $125,000 on his GoFundMe to pay for medical care and rehab.
