According to the results of a new national poll, 28% of African-Americans plan on voting to reelect President Donald Trump in November.
Mr. Trump’s approval rate among Black Americans is 29% according to the poll, which was conducted by Atlas Intel.
The numbers are a stark, and worrisome-for-Democrats, reversal from 2016 numbers, when Mr. Trump attracted just 8% of the Black vote. Democratic Nominee Hillary Clinton garnered a whopping 89% of African-American votes that year.
But current numbers show this year’s Democratic Nominee, former VP Joe Biden, down to only 66% of the Black vote.
We’ve been reporting for weeks on a groundswell of African-American voters becoming disillusioned with the Democratic Party, and movements like Black Lives Matter and ANTIFA, and slowly seeking more freedom in their political ideology.
