“A Harris administration together with Joe Biden…”

Vice-presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris committed a gaffe yesterday when she accidentally referred to an upcoming Democratic administration as a “Harris administration.”
“A Harris administration, together with Joe Biden, as the President of the United States…a Biden/Harris administration will provide access to $100 billion in low-interest loans and investments for minority business-owners…” Harris said.
Critics of the Democratic ticket have suspected that Joe Biden is serving only as a figurehead. But if Democrats should prevail in November, a Biden administration will actually be run by Harris and other, more progressive Democratic politicians.
Many are terming Harris’ slip of the tongue, a Kinsley gaffe, named after journalist Michael Kinsley. Kinsley once said a gaffe in Washington, D.C., is when a politician accidentally tells the truth.
