Internet users have noticed something peculiar over the past several weeks: typing www.Antifa.com into a website browser automatically takes you to JoeBiden.com, the Biden campaign’s main 2020 election website.
The redirect seems to be a prank on the Biden campaign; an effort to make it seem as though the Biden/Kamala Harris campaign is deeply intertwined with the anti-fascist group that has been sparking violence in cities all across America for several months.
USA Today has a thorough piece on the history of the domain www.Antifa.com, which you can read here.
“So whoever owns antifa.com is redirecting it to our website as a troll…The VP very obviously has/wants nothing to do with fringe groups,” Digital Director for the Biden Campaign Rob Flaherty tweeted last month.
So whoever owns https://t.co/HgEpqQ9MqZ is redirecting it to our website as a troll. What we do know was that the website was registered with a Russian registrar for a while. Odd!
The VP very obviously has/wants nothing to do with fringe groups. Wish Trump could say the same.
