Revolver.News has published a report that explores the similarities between color revolutions brought about, it says, by the U.S. government in other countries, and the current unrest happening today within the U.S.
Norm Eisen, the former Ethics Czar to President Obama, wrote a book titled, “The Democracy Playbook: Preventing and Reversing Democratic Backsliding.” This book, Revolver says, is serving as the playbook to undermining and eventually overthrowing the Trump administration.
Revolver also explores Michael McFaul’s book, which lays out similar instructions. McFaul served as U.S. ambassador to Russia from 2012 to 2014. McFaul lists factors he says are needed for a successful revolution. We list them below with notes added by Revolver (within parenthesis) to draw comparisons to our present political climate:
- A semi-autocratic regime rather than fully autocratic
- An unpopular incumbent (note blanket negative coverage of Trump, fake polls)
- A united and organized opposition (media, intel community, Hollywood, community groups, etc)
- An ability to quickly drive home the point that voting results were falsified – See our piece on the Transition Integrity Project
- Enough independent media to inform citizens of falsified vote (see full court press in media pushing contested election narrative, social media censorship)
- A political opposition capable of mobilizing tens of thousands or more demonstrators to protest electoral fraud (SEE BLACK LIVES MATTER AND ANTIFA)
Last week we reported on how the Transition Integrity Project is planning to use doubt about the integrity of the election and massive civil protests to undermine Constitutional norms in this country.
