Joe Biden pledged no deportations of illegal immigrants during the first 100 days of a Biden administration, should he be elected president.
The pledge, which the former VP has made several times previously during the campaign, was reiterated last week during an interview on Spanish-language network Telemundo.
“There are going to be no deportations in the first 100 days of my campaign,” Biden said, presumably meaning his administration.
The Biden campaign has made a concerted effort to reach out to Latino voters in recent weeks as polls have shown it losing significant ground to President Trump’s campaign with Latino voters.
