President Trump reportedly said of Jewish lawmakers in Congress, they are “are only in it for themselves” and “stick together.”
The statements were made in front of officials in his administration according to reporting from The Washington Post yesterday.
More than two dozen current and former administration officials reportedly recounted remarks made by President Trump while in office.
The characterizations were reportedly made after he got off the phone with Jewish lawmakers, officials said.
President Trump has made similar comments in past, including one last week when, on a conference call with American Jews, he said “we love your country,” referring to Israel.
