A top policy adviser at Twitter has left the tech giant for a position on VP Joe Biden’s transition team.
Carlos Monje has served as Twitter’s public policy director since 2017. While there his responsibilities included managing the company’s response to criticism over how it moderates content on its platform.
Monje left the company last week after helping to host a fundraiser for Joe Biden.
In the past, Monje has worked on Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and has served as a senior policy advisor to President Obama on the Domestic Policy Council, among several other posts.
