UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson seemed to issue a threat to Britons this week: comply with Covid19 restrictions or he will lock the country down further.
“If people don’t follow the rules we have set out, then we must reserve the right to go further,” he said.
Johnson said “freedom-loving” Britons would be to blame if tighter restrictions came down from his government, as he announced new Covid19 rules.
He warned British citizens to remain resolute as he refused to rule out a second national lockdown to contain Covid19.
New restrictions include a 10pm curfew for businesses and restaurants, a renewed ban on indoor sports and stricter rules on mask-wearing.
