I just received word that I am positive for COVID-19. I want to thank all of my friends and colleagues who have reached out to ask how I was feeling in the last day or two. I will be receiving medical attention today and will keep the necessary folks apprised of my condition.

Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie (NJ) announced today that he has tested positive for Covid19.
“I just received word that I am positive for COVID-19. I want to thank all of my friends and colleagues who have reached out to ask how I was feeling in the last day or two. I will be receiving medical attention today and will keep the necessary folks apprised of my condition,” he wrote on Twitter.
Christie is the latest notable figure from President Trump’s inner circle to test positive for the virus this week.
The President himself, along with the First Lady, announced they had tested positive for the virus early in the morning on Friday. Mr. Trump has since been transferred to Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. His physicians said earlier today that they are “extremely happy” with his progress.
