Dallas Mavericks owner and entrepreneur Mark Cuban has donated $50,000 each to two deputies who were shot last month in an ambush outside of Los Angeles.
Cuban made the donations through his Fallen Patriot Fund, a charity that raises money for families of U.S. military servicemen and women killed or wounded in Iraq. More than $5 million has been donated through the fund so far.
The deputies, one male and one female, were shot multiple times as they sat in their patrol vehicle. Both officers have survived.
Update: The gunman walked up on the deputies and opened fire without warning or provocation. pic.twitter.com/cBQjyKkoxJ
