According to a new poll, 75% of U.S. Jews support Joe Biden for president over President Trump. Only 22% said they would be voting for Mr. Trump.
The number is in line with President Trump’s approval rating among U.S. Jews, 22% of whom think Mr. Trump has taken the country in a good direction while 77% disagree with the statement.
Respondents rated Covid19 as the most important factor in their decision to vote in the election. Health care, the economy, inter-societal relations, crime, and foreign affairs followed.
Around three-quarters of respondents said Biden would deal with major issues facing the country better than Trump. On the issue of “strengthening US – Israel relations,” 54% said Biden would be better, compared to 42% who said Trump would be better.
