The UK’s Sunday Express, in conjunction with the Democracy Institute, has President Trump maintaining a 49-45% lead in key swing states like Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin heading into tomorrow’s election.
That puts him on course, they say, to win the electoral college by a wide 326-212 margin.
The Democracy Institute/Sunday Express poll has throughout the campaign been one of the few to predict a Trump victory.
The reason for that, they say, is other polls record only people identifying as registered votes while they concentrate on likely voters. They also have tried to identify the “shy” Trump vote.
According to their latest numbers, a stunning 79% of Trump supporters would not admit voting for Trump to their friends and family. By contrast, only 21% of Biden supporters have the same concerns.
