President Trump’s campaign has filed a suit in Pennsylvania asking to be declared the winner of that state’s electoral votes. The suit argues the state legislature should be given the authority to assign those votes to Mr. Trump.
The campaign’s constitutional rights were violated, the suit alleges, because monitors were not given adequate access to election officials who were processing and counting voter ballots.
It also argues that 1.5 million votes across the state “should not have been counted” and that they led to “returns indicating Biden won Pennsylvania.”
