NEWS in Huddle: Rep. Mo Brooks plans to challenge the Electoral College votes when Congress officially certifies Biden’s victory on Jan. 6 … if he can get a senator to join.
He’s had “indirect” talks w/ senators about it, but no one has committed yet. https://t.co/LofQDvDbJO

Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) says he plans on challenging the results of the Electoral College on Jan. 6.
“In my judgment, if only lawful votes by eligible American citizens were cast, Donald Trump won the Electoral College by a significant margin, and Congress’s certification should reflect that,” Brooks said. “This election was stolen by the socialists engaging in extraordinary voter fraud and election theft measures.”
If an objection by at least one Representative and one Senator is made to a state’s electoral votes – and is upheld – those votes can be rejected by the Electoral College.
If enough electoral college votes are rejected and neither presidential candidate reaches the requisite 270 votes, the presidential race will fall to the House of Representative to decide on a state delegation basis.
