Mayor Rudy Giuliani believes courts are using “lack of standing” as an excuse to not have to make hard rulings in voter fraud cases all over the country.
“The tragedy of this, Steve, is that they’re using standing as a dodge to not have to face the facts,” Giuliani told Warroom’s Steve Bannon. “Nobody wants to face the reality that this election was stolen.”
The U.S. Supreme Court ruled this week that the state of Texas lacked standing in its lawsuit alleging election fraud against four battleground states. Giuliani says the Trump campaign will bring the same lawsuits with President Trump himself and state electors as plaintiffs to remedy that finding.
“Let’s see what excuse they can try to use to avoid having a hearing on that,” the former Mayor said.
