80,000 New Voters in Georgia in Less Than a Month Ahead of Senate Runoff Even Though Georgia Residents Are Automatically Registered When Issued Drivers Licenses – Suspicious

Headlines Politics U.S.

Radio host John Fredericks reported this morning that there have been 80,000 new voters registered in Georgia between Nov. 4 and Dec. 7, ahead of the Senate runoffs in that state on Jan. 5.

Fredericks pointed out that Georgia residents are automatically registered to vote when issued driver’s licenses so most residents in Georgia are already registered, making that number highly dubious.

He also points out the feat is even more unlikely because the period in which these new voters were supposedly registered was even narrower, given it wasn’t clear there would even be a runoff in Georgia until Nov. 10.
