A group of Georgia voters is to file an “immediate motion to compel” against Fulton County officials over election results transferred from the county to the Secretary of State’s office on Election Day. The suit seeks to compel Fulton County to allow ballots cast on election night to be inspected visually.
The group is being represented in the lawsuit by Voters Organized for Trusted Election Results in Georgia (VoterGA).
“We got a response form Fulton saying they are going to object to the inspection and we are filing an immediate motion to compel,” the group’s founder Garland Favorito told ITN last night.
The group of Georgia voters filed the lawsuit against Fulton County officials over myriad voter irregularities, including the now-infamous “suitcase full of ballots” incident that led to Joe Biden taking the lead in the state.
The lawsuit emphasizes a connection between those alleged fraudulent ballots (and others), and a subsequent spike in vote-tally that was skewed heavily in Biden’s favor.
Favorito filed an open-records request with the state for an electronic copy of the Nov. 3 interim election results transferred from Fulton County to the Secretary of State’s office on Nov. 5. He never received a response.
