A member of the far-left group ANTIFA has been arrested in Seattle. Margaret Aislinn Channon had been wanted for setting fire to five police vehicles in Seattle during the recent Black Lives Matter protests.
Channon had been reported missing in Presidio, Texas last year. If convicted, the 25-year-old could serve up to 20 years in prison.
“This defendant was captured by multiple cameras using an accelerant, lit like a blowtorch, to start fires in five vehicles,” U.S. Attorney Brian Moran said in a statement.

The alleged offenses took place in the area of Sixth Avenue and Pine Street in downtown Seattle. That area is now part of CHAZ or CHOP, the zone that is being occupied by Black Lives Matter protesters.
Reports of arsonists and other agent provocateurs have been numerous during recent weeks of riots and protests following the killing of an African-American man, George Floyd, by police in Minneapolis.
