Eight days after St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner filed charges against Mark and Particia McCloskey, George Soros donated $116,000 to a Political Action Committee established just for her.
Gardner charged the McCloskeys with unlawful use of a weapon, flourishing, after the pair waved guns at Black Lives Matter protesters who had trespassing into their gated community.
Evidence later emerged that crime lab staff members were ordered to disassemble Patricia’s gun and reassemble it making it operable. Had it remained inoperable, it would not have been illegal.
It’s also been revealed that a St. Louis Police Detective refused to sign at least two versions of a prosecutor’s probable cause statement regarding the McCloskeys because of what he felt was apparent bias in the statements.
A Saturday filing with the Missouri Ethics Commission revealed a donation made directly from George Soros to the Missouri Justice and Public Safety PAC.
So far Soros is the only donor for that PAC.
The Committee has already spent at least $104,393 – including $77,804 directly on Gardner, and a payoff of accumulated debt.
Gardner had a primary contest yesterday. She won by a margin of 61% to 39%.
