Two U.S. Doomsday planes took flight earlier today on each of the nation’s coasts. The flights come in the wake of President Trump’s announcement that he, along with First Lady Melania Trump, have tested positive for Covid19.
U.S. Navy Doomsday planes command a fleet of the Navy’s Ohio class nuclear submarines. Those submarines are armed with nuclear ballistic missiles and are deployed in U.S. waters as well as waters around the world
Doomsday planes can withstand a nuclear blast and can remain in the air for 12 hours without refueling. They are also capable of refueling in the air, meaning they can theoretically remain airborne for days.
“There was speculation the airborne command posts were deployed as a warning to any of America’s enemies after news broke of Trump’s positive test for the novel coronavirus,” Fox News reported.
“While military planes generally turn off their transponders in order to avoid being tracked, the two E-6Bs in the air early Friday morning had left theirs on, with the assumption being that their crews want to be seen,” it added.
RT There’s an E-6B Mercury off the east coast near DC. I looked because I would expect them to pop up if he tests positive. It’s a message to the small group of adversaries with SLBMs and ICBMs. pic.twitter.com/3ta9PmPxZD

Here’s another E6-B that just popped up visible on MLAT on the west coast. IMO Stratcom wants them to be seen. pic.twitter.com/nvN03Rnnh9

As I observed, @POTUS @RealDonaldTrump has #Covid19 along with FLOTUS.

According to U.S. Strategic Command, the flights were “pre-planned” and the timing was “purely coincidental.”
