CEO Jack Dorsey admitted that Twitter, in essence, relies on politically-motivated individuals being offended to decide which tweets get censored and which do not.
Dorsey was answering questions about censorship in a U.S. Senate hearing last week when Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) shared tweets posted by dictators in Iran, Venezuela and by the Chinese Communist Party. He asked why Twitter allowed such dangerous individuals to voice their opinions but at the same time targeted conservatives in the U.S.
Dorsey, in response, said: “We don’t have a general policy around misleading information and misinformation… We rely upon people calling that speech out.”
Dorsey says Twitter doesn’t have a general policy on misinformation. “we rely on people calling it out.” Even Twitter is outsourcing policy making to progressive Twitter.

Twitter and Facebook have received criticism in recent weeks for their censorship of a story on the Joe Biden family selling political influence for money to foreign actors from countries all over the world.
