Nearly 150,000 people in Michigan – 149,790 to be exact – voted in the presidential election this year, but not in the state’s senate election, a number much higher than in similar states.
In Oregon, for example, 36,805 more people cast their ballot for a presidential candidate than a senatorial candidate.
In South Carolina, the difference was only 1,331 votes.
Democrat Joe Biden currently leads in Michigan by 145,935 votes.
