Wisconsin elections officials are trying to change the rules governing vote recounts after the Trump campaign officially requesting – and paying the filing fee – for a recount. The change would make vote-challenges more difficult.
Andrew Hitt, Chairman of the Republican Party of Wisconsin, posted the news on Twitter last night.
“The Wisconsin Elections Commission, after seeing President Trump’s recount petition and objections, is trying to change the recount manual at an emergency meeting tonight at 6 pm to make objections harder to make,” Hitt wrote.

The Trump campaign filed for recounts in two Wisconsin counties: Milwaukee and Dane. The campaign said it paid the $3 million filing fee for the recounting in the two counties and the state has acknowledged receiving the fee.
