WikiLeaks has posted the full text of Michael Wolff’s new book, Fire and Fury, which is highly critical of the president. The website’s official account tweeted a link to the book with the words: “Full PDF.”
The link was posted at about 8pm EST last night, and as of this morning it is still up. The book sparked a firestorm last week when it was revealed that Steve Bannon, former top strategist to President Trump, had called a meeting between Donald Trump Jr and Russian individuals “treasonous” and “unpatriotic.” The book also raised questions about the president’s mental fitness.
The controversy prompted an apology from Bannon. In a statement released yesterday, Bannon called Donald Trump Jr “a patriot and a good man.” He also expressed regret that his comments had diverted attention from the president’s “historical accomplishments in the first year of his presidency.”
