Lawyers for Jeffrey Epstein’s victim, Virginia Giuffre, allege the reason Epstein trafficked Giuffre to powerful men all over the world was so that he could potentially blackmail them.
Court filings from 2015 allege that Giuffre (referred to as Jane Doe #3) was “trafficked for sexual purposes to many other powerful men, including numerous prominent American politicians, powerful business executives, foreign presidents, a well-known Prime Minister, and other world leaders.”
Giuffre says she was then required to “describe the events that she had with these men so that [Epstein] could potentially blackmail them.”
The revelations are made in a trove of unsealed documents relating to the massive sex-trafficking ring perpetrated by Epstein and Maxwell over several years. Maxwell is currently in police custody. Epstein committed suicide in his jail cell last year, several weeks after being arrested.
